I honestly had noticed this a while back… as in years ago, but I didn’t realize the impact of it until now. There’s this podcast called Podrunner that has been going on for several years now. It’s mixed and produced by DJ Steve Boyett. It’s a podcast that focuses on providing workout music to… well whoever. Over the course of the past few years, some of my tracks off Next Dimension Music have been featured on his show. The most recent appearance was August 14, 2009 and featured my track Discount Bin.
I guess what shocks me most about this is that today, the Podrunner podcast is the ninth most popular music podcast on all of iTunes. It’s ranked above Armin, Above & Beyond and Oakenfold’s podcasts in popularity. Here’s a link for you if you would like to subscribe to Podrunner.
Well, looks like I need to send him some newer material to use. Discount Bin‘s got a bit of dust on it these days.
Steve, if you’re reading this… thanks for the support. It means a lot.

Dave–
I *am* reading this! (Actually someone emailed me about your post.) Podrunner has been in the Top 10 music podcasts on iTunes for nearly four years now, and I’m hugely grateful to the listeners and to the artists who’ve created such amazing tracks.
I’ve enjoyed your work on Next Dimension & Surge — two of my favorite labels to use for Podrunner. If you’ve got anything you’d like to send me (especially on those labels), please do!
We always link the playlists to the original tracks on resonantvibes.com, and I hope it’s generated sales for you. Take care!
